"No I'm interested in self-preservation." Kamiro corrected. He led the way down a corridor and stopped at a narrow vent in the top of the wall. "Tight fit, but it's the best place to be." He said. Mariko smiled to herself. Either her effort to conceal the irony in her previous remark had been far more successful than she'd thought, or (and more likely) this one just didn't care. She reached up and slid the naginata into the vent, then lifted herself up after it.

"Mine wasn't quite so-" He stopped short when he heard a voice echoing down the shaft, unfortunately it was too distorted to be recognizable. Naturally Murphy had to be right at this particular moment, something went wrong. The ceiling and the metal of the vent itself collapsed under their combined weight and dropped them into a room full of soldiers. In moments a dozen guns were pointed at them. "We'll only get one shot, when I say the word start swinging and run." He muttered quietly as he stood and raised his hands.
